Ancient Chinese Geography

During the course of China's history, it's territory has expanded and contracted over time. Below are some images of China through the ages in order of oldest to newest. (The red represents the territory of China).

To the North of China is Mongolia, a then nomadic state. To the West of China is India, a fearsome country known for it's thugs and thieves. To the North-West is Nepal.
